I also maintain an artistic practice, working regularly in music and theatre. My relationship with the creative process informs my approach to therapy; therapy can be a part of the process by which we are continually created and transformed. In addition, I have many years of experience as an educator and mentor to children and adolescents.

I am most passionate about helping people come to understand themselves better, and building a better relationship with the world by doing so. I am very interested in working with the unconscious, particularly through dreams and other sorts of imagination. My approach to therapy is primarily grounded in the work of C. G. Jung. I also have a strong grounding in very practical "solution-focused" therapy for those situations which call for a more direct approach.

Other potential modalities for therapy include: CBT, humanistic, family systems, and existential.

I enjoy hiking, climbing, playing music, and learning new skills.
