Individual & Couples Therapy in Edmonton

Your life is your own journey, and sometimes you run into rough seas.

If you find yourself dealing with things like anxiety, depression, trauma, or relationship problems, it can feel overwhelming.

At Windward Psychological, you'll find an experienced guide to help you find your own way. My approach is versatile, and grounded in the philosophy that deep understanding of a situation is key to learning what to do about it. My counselling style is patient, warm, affirming, and personable.

Areas of expertise:

  • Anxiety

  • Men’s issues

  • Relationship problems & codependency

I am also an active theatre and music artist, and I will use my deep knowledge of the creative process to guide our work together. Since you and your journey are completely individual, you may need a process in therapy that will help you navigate it in a completely unique way. In addition, I have many years of experience working as a mentor and educator with children and adolescents.

I am a Jungian Analyst Training Candidate (CGJI Zürich). My approach to therapy is influenced by this. One thing this means is that I assume that you have an inner drive towards wholeness. We may look at the issues you bring up as guideposts on this path rather than solely as problems to be "fixed". We may work with your dreams and imagination to get in touch with your own inner source of healing.

Therapeutic work can be very rewarding; it can also be very challenging. We will collaborate to build a relationship of trust, in which both the rewards and challenges can be met with courage.

I work with individuals and couples, adults and adolescents. Many employment benefits cover psychotherapy; if you are not covered, we can discuss ways to make therapy work within your budget.
